The GaGaLove Story...
The idea of GaGa was conceived when two friends openly announced to the world that they were completely GaGa over their grandchildren!
In 2003, my friend, Cheryl, and I spent every available moment talking about our precious granddaughters. Although I was blessed to have an adorable grandson, Brooklyn, who lived hundreds of miles away, I was tickled pink to be experiencing my first grandchild in the same time zone with the birth of my granddaughter, Cela. Our granddaughters were only months apart, so we talked about them constantly, sharing ideas, bringing in pictures, and telling of every little smile & giggle. Matching pink-framed pictures of our granddaughters were proudly displayed on our desks.
We even went as far as to shop for each other - if one of us found a good sale, a must have item, or simply something pink, we bought two! One evening, we decided to celebrate being "GaGa" and went on a pink-frenzy shopping spree! When we were done, we went to dinner and compared our precious pink packages to see who had gotten the best deal. Satisfied with our grandmother craziness, we ordered pink cocktails, raised our glasses high, and toasted to being a GaGa Grandmother!
Now that you know about the conception of GaGa... here’s the rest of our story... Love. I believe what we were experiencing was the pure joy of being a grandmother, a very special love that all grandmothers feel and can share with other grandmothers. Being GaGa is about loving your grandchildren. It is the limitless love given for your grandchild at the moment of birth - the kind of unconditional love that God gives us. With hearts full, we added "Love."

The Swirl Story...
After years of working on the design and concept, a break to battle cancer, lots of prayers, and more grandchildren, the swirl serves as a loving symbol of grandmothers, grandchildren and God.
The Scoop on GiGiLove...
Not to leave out our wonderful Great Grandmas, I created GiGiLove. I sincerely believe that every GiGi deserves more love and attention, so GiGiLove is just for them!

The GaGaLove Song...
The GaGaLove song came to life when my daughter and son-in-law, Risa and Manuel, re-recorded the one-line song that my granddaughter had written and recorded when she was only 3 years old. For years we sang "I will love you forever" over and over to each other, often playing around with lines to add to the song, but never really capturing the preciousness of the first line. It wasn't until Christmas Eve three years later that Risa, Manuel, and the kids added a sweet little melody and two new verses! After a couple of shy attempts, the then 6 & 4 year-olds tried one last time to record my surprise song before being tucked into bed. With Cela and Lito in their jammies, they sang the song perfectly in one take. What a blessing on Christmas Day to receive such an unforgettable gift. Tissues, hugs, and kisses were passed around as we played the song over and over.
